develop an appreciation of their rights and responsibilities as citizens of our
community. School Statistics South Live Oak Elementary is located in Watson, Louisiana. Live Oak Upper Elementary was constructed in the spring of 1993. The 1993-94 school year was the first in our current building. An addition was added for the 1998-99 school year which included five new classrooms, a science lab, and a library. South Live Oak currently has two computer labs. Our current enrollment is 500 students. We have just completed enlarging our library and adding classrooms, bathrooms, and a music room. We are very excited about our expansion! As of the 2004-2005 school year, South Live Oak Elementary is a K-5 school. We were formerly known as Live Oak Upper Elementary schooling only grades 3-5.
